Prairie Home R-V Superintendent Jordan Hoecker provided an update on the school district’s search for its next superintendent.
Hoecker previously announced his decision to leave Prairie Home after four years as the district’s superintendent. Hoecker has already been selected as the next superintendent for St. Elizabeth R-IV, which is his alma mater. Hoecker says the Prairie Home School Board has chosen the Missouri Association of Rural Educators (MARE) to conduct the search for the district’s next lead administrator.
Hoecker says the Board of Education also reviewed bids to install a new HVAC system in the district’s gymnasium. Hoecker notes the board wasn’t satisfied with either of the bids they received.
The Board of Education plans to review bids again during its next meeting on January 21, 2026.
