The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the reopening of an intersection on U.S. Highway 50 in Johnson County.

Crews have reopened the intersections on U.S. Highway 50 eastbound and westbound between Johnson County Routes W/Z and County Road 1501 near Powell Gardens. Crews closed the left lane in August 2025 for intersection improvement work, including the addition of J-turns and the removal of median crossovers. The project is being completed on schedule.
