The Missouri Department of Transportation will take advantage of warmer weather this week to complete some maintenance projects just before Christmas.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 22, crews will conduct flagging operations on Route 41 in eastern Saline County, from the Cooper County line north to Route 240, to allow for shoulder repairs to take place. The work is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Brush cutting is scheduled over the next two days along Route PP north of Leeton in Johnson County, between SE 251st and SE 371st roads.
In Carroll County, MoDOT is closing County Road 281 south of Route J on Monday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. for a culvert replacement.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. All work is weather permitting.
