
Roadwork is taking place on several roadways in Johnson and Saline County next week. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, crews will not be working on Thursday, January 1, due to the New Year’s Day holiday.
Brush cutting work is scheduled on Johnson County Route PP between Southeast 251 Road and Southeast 371 Road, and Route B between Southwest 1150 Road and the Henry County line. Flagging operations will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
In Saline County, shoulder repair work is scheduled on Missouri 41 between Missouri 240 and the Cooper County line.
Flagging operations will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Crews will work on each project from Monday through Friday, with no work scheduled for Thursday. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
