
Patricia Ann “Pat” Meyer, 82, of Concordia, MO, died Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma with Pastor Bernard Ross officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Family and friends are invited back for a celebration of life at Trinity Lutheran School cafeteria following the inurnment. Born July 11, 1943, in Richmond, MO, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Shipley and Hazel Burns. Pat was raised in the Richmond area and was a 1961 graduate of Richmond High School. On June 5, 1971, she married Ronald W. Meyer who preceded her in death on January 2, 2010. Her working career was spent in various occupations through the years. She was a successful sales representative for Tupperware, worked as a waitress at Schuette’s Restaurant from the day it opened until the day it closed, was a secretary for Dr. Wayne Myers at Concordia Chiropractic Clinic, co-owned and operated M&M Café in Alma, was a manager for McDonald’s for over 10 years, and was proud to have worked as an Elf at Santa’s North Pole Workshop in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
Pat was an active member of the community and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma. In her younger years she served as a 4-H Leader and softball coach. Pat was a member of the Four Square Club, was a competitive board and card games player, participated in the Community Church Quilting group while in Georgia, loved playing bingo, and was an avid sewer.
Survivors include four children: Shelley Goodloe (Kevin) of Alma, Jason Beckner (Kelley) of Warrensburg, Ronda Lewis (Eddie) of Sweet Springs and Patrice Perry (James) of St. Simons Island, GA; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Shirley “Spanky” Coates of Excelsior Springs; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband; one daughter, Amy Meyer; one sister, Sue Bush; and her stepmother, Olive Shipley.
