A fourth ordinance proposal will come before the Saline County Commission at their meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 31.

An agenda for the meeting indicates that the commission will consider an ordinance addressing camping, littering, and prolonged occupancy. At their previous meeting Dec. 17, commissioners adopted ordinances pertaining to dust control applications on roads in the county’s common road district, after-hours use of the county courthouse, and floodplain management. Also Wednesday, the commission will review a county government legal services agreement. The commission’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. on the first floor of the Saline County Courthouse in Marshall.
