The City of Moberly has issued a new boil advisory for customers along a portion of U.S. Route 24 on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.

An emergency water main repair has resulted in a disruption of services to customers along the highway between North Buchanan and Robertson roads. The outage may also impact surrounding areas. Any customers who experience a loss of water service or low water pressure will go under a boil advisory when service is restored. The advisory will last for up to 48 hours and require impacted customers to bring water intended for consumption to a boil for three minutes and allowed to cool before drinking.
