A one vehicle crash on Missouri 5 in Chariton County injured three occupants at 7:23 a.m. Wednesday, December 31.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says a vehicle driven by a 15-year-old Keytesville juvenile went off the right side of the road ans overcorrected while traveling along northbound Missouri 5, five miles outside Salisbury. The vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway again and overturned.

The juvenile driver sustained moderate injuries in the accident. The two passengers in the vehicle, a 47-year-old Keytesville man and a ten-year-old juvenile, had minor injuries. All three were transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The patrol reports that all three occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.
