A Moberly teenager sustained moderate injury after losing control of his vehicle on a Randolph County roadway Sunday, Jan. 4.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 16-year-old was driving his car west on Route BB about three miles west of Moberly. According to the Patrol, at around 4:35 p.m. the driver lost control and overcorrected, striking a utility pole and overturning. He was taken by ambulance to a Columbia hospital. Troopers add that the driver was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
