The Kansas City Royals have announced a three-year extension with manager Matt Quatraro.
The deal announced Sunday, Jan. 4, covers the 2027, 2028 and 2029 seasons, with a club option for 2030. Quatraro enters his final season of his current deal with a 224-262 record, posting back-to-back winning seasons including an appearance in the American League Division Series in 2024. He’ll continue to work with general manager JJ Picollo, who inked an extension last spring through the 2030 season.
Details about the deal were not released by the Royals.
