Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are closing a Benton County roadway Jan. 5-9 to make repairs to a culvert.
Route V at Deer Creek, outside the Hastain community, will close each day this week from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., when crews are present to address gravel build-up at the culvert. The roadway will reopen at night, when crews are not working. Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone, but will need to find alternate routes while the work is underway. Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone, but no detour will be signed.
Weather or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
