A Sedalia man sustained moderate injury after his motorcycle crashed Monday, Jan. 5 on a southern Johnson County highway.

The Missouri State highway Patrol responded to the crash around 5 p.m. on Route PP, a half-mile east of Route 13. According to troopers, the 61-year-old rider struck some mud as he was going east on the roadway, causing him to lose control and lay the motorcycle on its side. The bike’s driver sought his own treatment, and the bike was driven from the scene.
