The Concordia Board of Aldermen voted to enter into a lease purchase agreement for the purchase of land the City closed on in November 2025.

Aldermen approved the agreement with Central Bank in the amount of $250,000 during its January 5th meeting. City Administrator Dale Klussman provided further details about the agreement.

 

The board also accepted the ballot of candidates for the April General Municipal Election.

 

The election will be held April 7, 2026.

It was also announced that Concordia City Hall will be closed Monday, January 19th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The board’s next meeting will be held Tuesday, January 20th.
