A Warsaw man was struck by an SUV on a Benton County highway Tuesday, Jan. 6.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at around 10:55 p.m., the 43-year-old man was struck by an SUV that was going south on U.S. Route 65 at the exit to Route 7 in Warsaw. The pedestrian sustained serious injury and was taken to a Columbia hospital. No injuries were reported for the SUV’s driver.
