The Pettis County Commission has announced the approval of the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget.

The 2026 General Revenue budget is balanced at $17,405,476.85. Eastern Commissioner Israel Baeza describes the Commission’s approach when putting the budget together.

 

Presiding Commissioner Bill Taylor says the budget includes a major project with the old Sedalia Democrat building.

 

The 2026 Road and Bridge budget is set at more than $24 million. Baeza outlines some of the priorities for that budget.
