Emergency Management agencies in Pettis and Saline counties will conduct their monthly storm siren tests Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026.

Sedalia-Pettis County EMA will activate their tornado sirens at noon. Saline County will test their sirens between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Saline County’s test will not include sirens within the City of Marshall, but are expected to in the communities of Arrow Rock, Blackburn, Gilliam, Grand Pass, Malta Bend, Miami, Nelson, Slater and Sweet Springs.
