A sidewalk project in downtown Knob Noster is being delayed by one year, with construction now expected to begin in 2027.
The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen approved a supplemental agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission during its January 6th meeting. According to City Administrator Cameron Jackson, the City’s Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) sidewalk project has been delayed by about a year. Jackson says the supplemental agreement sets a new working schedule for the project.
Jackson says the work will take place on various sidewalks in downtown Knob Noster.
Jackson says the city will look to bid out the work at the end of 2026, with the goal of beginning construction in 2027.
In other action from Tuesday’s meeting, the Board of Aldermen approved a contract with Maguire Iron for water tower rehabilitation work.
