The Missouri Department of Transportation is conducting routine maintenance work on roadways in Johnson, Lafayette, and Saline County beginning on Monday, January 12.

In Johnson County, brush cutting work begins on Route B between Southeast 1150 Road and the Henry County line on Monday and Tuesday. The work will also take place on Route PP until Wednesday. Crews will then conduct the work on Missouri Highway 131 from Wednesday until Friday, and on Route EE between Southeast 371 Road and Southeast 771 Road on Thursday and Friday.

Brush cutting work is also scheduled on Missouri Highway 224 in Lafayette County between Giblin Road and County Farm Road all week.

Shoulder repair work is continuing in Saline County on Missouri Highway 127. The repair work is scheduled between Missouri Route 20 and Interstate-70 from Monday through Wednesday; and between Missouri 20 and U.S. Highway 65 on Thursday and Friday. Flagging operations will be in effect throughout the week.

Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. All work is weather permitting.
