Water service was interrupted for an emergency water main break affecting residents on the 100 block of East Coates Street in the City of Moberly. Water service will be restored once repairs are completed.

The outage also may affect the surrounding area. Any residents who experience low water pressure or have no water in their area will be under a 48-hour Boil Advisory once water service is restored. Boil advisories are due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system. During an advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking.
