The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the completion of a project to install a roundabout at a key Moniteau County intersection.
The High Point Roundabout at the junction of Routes C and 87 opened Friday, Jan. 9, with temporary signals removed, allowing full use of the reconfigured intersection. Construction began in June, with S and A Equipment and Builders of Fulton awarded the $1,467,994.56 project. Crews will need to conduct some lane closures as the final traffic control measures are installed. MoDOT reminds motorists to use extra caution and follow all posted signs as they get accustomed to the new intersection.
