UPDATE: West Hinton has reopened to traffic.

Public Utilities crews in Moberly are closing a block of West Hinton Avenue on Monday, Jan. 12 to allow crews to complete a water service repair.

The closure is between Emerson and Hinckley streets. The street is expected to reopen this afternoon. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes to avoid the construction.

Elsewhere in Moberly, the city’s water office has lifted the boil advisory that had been in effect since Saturday evening for the 100 block of East Coates Street.
