A two-vehicle collision south of Warrensburg on Monday, Jan. 12 resulted in serious injuries to one of the drivers.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the collision occurred on Route 13, about a quarter-mile south of the intersection with Route Y, around 9:20 p.m. Troopers report that a northbound vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Warrensburg woman crossed the center line and struck another vehicle driven by a 62-year-old woman from Leeton. The Warrensburg driver sustained serious injury and was taken to a Kansas City area hospital. No injuries were reported for the other driver. Troopers note that both women were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
