A lane of northbound Route 13 is closed this week on the Ike Skelton Bridge north of Lexington for guardrail repairs.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says the lane closure will take place each day through Friday, Jan. 16 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to complete the repairs. All work is weather permitting.
Elsewhere, MoDOT crews are completing general roadside work along Route 5 in two locations. The work continues Tuesday and Wednesday along the northbound side of the highway a half-mile south of Interstate 70 in Cooper County, with crews flagging traffic through this work zone. A similar arrangement will go along Route 5 in Howard County from U.S. Route 40 north to Route DD throughout the week. Roadside work is also scheduled this week in Morgan County on Route FF from Route 52 to Fawn Ridge Road, and Route O. Brush cutting is taking place this week in Carroll County along Route W from U.S. Route 65 east to Route T, and in Moniteau County along U.S. Route 50 from Flag Spring Road outside California east to the Cole County line.
Also in Moniteau County, culvert replacements continue along Route 87, with one lane remaining open and flag crews directing traffic through each work zone. Culvert replacement projects this week in Macon County will result in the closure of Route V from Mahogany Street to Oxford Street, west of Clarence, as well as Route UU outside Callao from U.S. Route 36 to Clarence Street.
