A 36-year-old Keytesville man was seriously injured in an accident on U.S. Route 24 in Randolph County on Tuesday, January 13th.

The accident was reported when the vehicle driven by the Keytesville man traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a tree while traveling along westbound Route 24 at 4:20 p.m.

The driver was taken to University of Missouri Hospital by MU-1 Helicopter for treatment of serious injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed the driver was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.

The crash occurred near Missouri Route 3 in Randolph County.
