The Norborne R-VIII Board of Education approved the district’s school calendar for 2026/2027 during its meeting on Monday, January 12.

Approving the district’s calendar was the only major item on the Board’s agenda Monday night. Superintendent Jennifer Courtney provides more details about next year’s calendar.

 

Spring break will be March 25-30, 2027.

In other news, Maliyah O’Maley gave a presentation to the board about her FCCLA Star Event, speaking about the importance of suicide prevention and training for teenagers.

The board’s next meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 9th.
