
The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen approved several appointments from Mayor Frany Vaught during its meeting on Monday, January 12th.
The board first approved the appointment of Barry Keck as the Planning and Zoning Administrator. The board then voted to appoint Stanley Lewis and Sarah Clemens to the Planning and Zoning Board. All three appointments were approved unanimously.
In other news from the meeting, Tana Morehead with U.S. Small Business Administration was present to discuss Missouri Declarations #21340 and #21341. She stated that with the Natural Disaster occurring in Pilot Grove in April 2025, businesses or residents could be eligible for disaster relief loans because Saline County is considered a contiguous county.
