The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work on roadways in Johnson and Lafayette County from January 20-23. No work is scheduled for Monday, January 19 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Brush cutting work is planned on several roadways in Johnson County. The work will take place on Missouri Highway 131 between U.S. Highway 50 and Northwest 430 Road from Tuesday until Friday. The work is also taking place on Route PP between Southeast 251 Road and Southeast 371 Road from Tuesday through Friday.

In Lafayette County, shoulder work is planned on Missouri Highway 23 between U.S. Highway 24 and Missouri 20 from Tuesday until Thursday. Drainage work is scheduled on Missouri 23 between 14th and 15th Street in Concordia on Friday.

Flagging operations will be in effect during each project from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. All work is weather permitting.
