The Concordia R-2 Board of Education accepted the resignation of Elementary Principal Tim Thompson during its meeting on Thursday, January 15th.

Superintendent Theresa Christian says Thompson is resigning at the end of the school year to accept a position with another school district.

 

The board also accepted the resignations of Elementary Teacher Megan Maggert and Process Coordinator Shelly Rolf.

The Board of Education also held a discussion regarding 2026-2027 salary schedules for certified and classified staff.

 

In other action from last Thursday’s meeting, board members approved the 2026 Summer School application and reviewed the 2025-2026 climate and culture survey results. RTI was approved for the district’s E-Rate cabling project as well.
