A Warrensburg woman sustained moderate injury after she was struck by an oncoming vehicle on a Johnson County highway Wednesday, Jan. 21.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that just after 7 p.m., the 32-year-old woman was standing in the middle of the northbound lane of Route 13, about six miles north of Warrensburg, when she was struck by a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man from Lexington. Troopers say the woman refused treatment of her moderate injuries at the scene. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
