
Two women sustained serious injury after a collision Thursday, Jan. 23 east of Knob Noster.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Route FF, on the Johnson/Pettis County line. According to troopers, a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old woman from Knob Noster pulled across the westbound lanes of Route 50, colliding with an SUV driven by a 59-year-old woman from Blue Springs. The collision sent the SUV off the roadway and into a ditch. The two women were taken to a Kansas City area hospital. Troopers add that both women were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
