The Glasgow School District Board of Education reviewed the candidate filings for the April Municipal Election during its meeting on Wednesday, January 21st.

The board had three seats open in the April election and three candidates filed for the available seats, therefore, the district will not run an election in April. The three filing candidates are incumbents David McKenzie and Chad Fuemmeler and new member Lauren Kramm.

In other news from the meeting, the board accepted the resignation of Band Director Andrew Adams effective immediately. The board also voted to extend Superintendent Stacey Kottman’s contract by two years.

The board’s next meeting will be held on February 18th.
