Anna Margaret Skouby, 95, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall with Pastor Brett Arrasmith officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

 

Born September 6, 1930, in Napton, MO, she was the daughter of the late William Harvey “W.H.” Hinton and Margaret Stewart Hinton.  Anna Margaret was raised in the Napton area, where she attended all but her last year of high school, and then graduated from Marshall High School in 1948.  On June 13, 1948, she married Duane Skouby who preceded her in death on October 19, 2015.  In addition to being a homemaker for her family, she worked as a clerk for Milgram’s and Jim’s IGA for over 40 years.  Anna Margaret’s faith was an important part of life which compelled her to be actively involved in her church, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.  She was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and was able to enjoy her love of quilting with the church quilting guild.  Anna Margaret and Duane enjoyed traveling in their Winnebago, traveling all over North America, and were members of the Ozark Winnie Club.

 

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Coleen Skouby of Marshall; two grandchildren, Christy Skouby (Angie Sutherland) of Fair Grove, and Matt Skouby (Jenna) of Independence; five great-grandchildren: Shea, William, Talon, Jack and Dakota Skouby; as well as other extended family.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Anna Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth D. “Ken” Skouby.
