Access to Westview Drive in Versailles will be limited for the next two weeks as a culvert replacement project is underway.

The Missouri Department of Transportation closed the entrance to Westview Drive on Thursday, Jan. 29 from Route 5, to allow the replacement of the current culvert with a larger one. MoDOT says flooding issues are prompting the project. All businesses will remain accessible. The replacement is part of the five-million dollar contract awarded to S&A Equipment and Builders that converted the nearby intersection of Routes 5 and 52 into a roundabout.

MoDOT reminds motorists to buckle up, put your phone down, obey all traffic signs, and slow down and move over in work zones. All work is weather permitting and is subject to change.
