A reported threat at Odessa High School caused the district to evacuate students and staff at 1:55 p.m. Thursday.

Local law enforcement was notified and is on site, working in conjunction with district administration. Students are being safely released, with staff members supervising throughout the process. Students who do not drive or ride district transportation have been relocated to Odessa Middle School. OHS students should be picked up at OMS.

The district continues to work closely with authorities to assess the situation and will provide updates if additional information becomes available. Odessa Schools says families will be notified directly should further action be required.
