A Sedalia man suffered serious injury after he was struck early Thursday, Jan. 29 by a pickup in the Dresden area.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the collision occurred in the eastbound lane of Whitfield Road near Third, just after midnight. Troopers say the 32-year-old man was walking in the roadway when he was struck by the pickup, driven by a 45-year-old man from Humansville. The pedestrian was taken to a Warrensburg hospital.
