
Gilliam, MO resident, Wesley Isle, passed away at the age of 63, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.
Wesley Eugene Isle was born in Boonville, MO on July 21, 1962. He was one of four children born to the late John Wesley and Cleo Lucille (Atkinson) Isle. Wesley attended grades K-8 at Gilliam Elementary School and graduated from Slater High School. Wesley was self-employed and worked in the lawncare industry, mowing several yards in the Gilliam area. When he was able, Wesley enjoyed fishing and doing yard work. He was also always willing to lend a helping hand and do what he could for his neighbors.
Wesley is survived by his three siblings, Pat (Richard) Jolliff of Marshall, MO, Marilyn (Domenick) Rubbo of Pennsylvania and Johnny Isle of Gilliam, MO. He is also survived by three nephews, David and Kevin Jolliff and John Nicholas Rubbo. In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by a niece, Sherry Jolliff.
Following Wesley’s last wishes, there will be no public services. Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of the Isle family. Wesley’s final resting place will be in Gilliam Cemetery in Gilliam, MO.
