A Glasgow High School senior will soon conclude her two-year term on one of the Missouri State High School Activities Association’s newest panels.

Halle Fuemmeler has served as an at-large member on MSHSAA’s Student Advisory Committee, which began meeting in 2024. Fuemmeler says the committee not only allowed her to represent and interact with students around the state, but also learn more about herself and develop as a leader.

As part of the committee, Fuemmeler also had the chance to represent Missouri at an international conference of student-athletes this past summer in Indianapolis.

Fuemmeler credits her principal Rex Beltz for encouraging her to apply for the committee. MSHSAA is accepting applications from eligible high school sophomores to serve on the committee. Interested students can visit with their school’s activities director and complete the application by Feb. 13.
