Saline County Career Center Future Business Leaders of America Chapter members participated in the District-19 Leadership Conference in Chillicothe, qualifying 17 members for the State Leadership Conference. District competition consists of online objective tests, performance, and production events.
State Leadership Conference will be held in Springfield, April 12-14 at the University Plaza Hotel, EXPO Center, and JQH Arena at Missouri State University. The chapter had numerous members place first in their events, including Brianna Carrillo for Impromptu Speaking, Dana Tevalan for Public Administration and Management, Elsa Rahner for Business Law, and Randy Vazquez for Project Management. The SCCC FBLA Chapter will also have a District Officer for 2026-2027 school year. Chenuli Jayasundera will serve as the District 19 Secretary in 2026-2027.
Missouri FBLA has over 12,000 members in 450 chapters across the state, making it the second-largest chapter in the nation. The organization is hosted by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Jefferson City under the direction of the Supervisor of Business Education for the State.
