A pickup crash in northern Linn County on Wednesday, Feb. 11 resulted in two people needing treatment at an area hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the one-vehicle crash on Route 5 about a half-mile north of Purdin at around 12:20 p.m. According to the patrol’s report, the truck driven by a 54-year-old man from Trenton went off the roadway and struck an embankment. He suffered moderate injuries; troopers add he had not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. A 78-year-old woman from Milan sustained minor injuries. The two were treated at a Brookfield hospital.
