A Raytown man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 50 in Johnson County on Thursday, February 12.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the collision occurred when a vehicle driven by an 87-year-old Blue Springs man was struck in the rear by another vehicle while attempting to travel across eastbound Highway 50. The other vehicle was operated by a 22-year-old Raytown man, who reportedly failed to yield to the crossing vehicle. The collision was reported at 12:31 p.m.

The Raytown man was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. No injuries are listed for the other driver. The accident was reported on eastbound Highway 50, near Highway AA in Johnson County.
