Two Sedalia residents sustained moderate injuries in a crash reported on Highway 65 in Sedalia on Friday, February 13th.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old Sedalia man entered the highway from a parking lot and struck a northbound vehicle driven by a 52-year-old Sedalia man at 9:36 a.m. The collision was reported on northbound Highway 65, south of Elm Hills Boulevard in Sedalia.

Both drivers were dealt moderate injuries and transported to area hospitals for treatment. The Patrol reports that both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.
