The Odessa Board of Aldermen held its second budget workshop to discuss its proposed street plan prior to the start of its February 9th meeting.

City Administrator Shawna Davis says the discussion was focused on alternative methods of street maintenance prior to the start of the street program this spring.

 

The board also held a discussion regarding the Capital Improvement Plan, going over some projects that are in the budget.

During the board’s regular meeting last Monday, Aldermen held a discussion over the city’s Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA). Davis notes the city is also conducting a rate study to further examine the city’s electric rates.

 

The Board of Aldermen’s next meeting is set for Monday, February 23rd. Another budget workshop will be held at prior to the regular session.
