The Moberly City Council met Tuesday evening to review bids for the Parks and Recreation mowing contract, as well as an agreement for the city’s fireworks display this summer.
The council reviewed a total of six bids for mowing work throughout the Parks and Recreation facilities. The council decided to move forward with the bid from Ozark Shield. Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey lists some of the areas included in the contract.
The council is also executing its Fireworks Display Agreement with J&M Displays for the city’s celebrations on July 4th. McGarvey says J&M is adding a little more to this summer’s show as a bonus for the city.
The Moberly City Council also approved a request to host the Annual Unfinished Pieces 5K on Saturday, April 4th. The council’s next meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 2nd.
