The Sedalia Police Department arrested a subject following a disturbance at Convention Hall in Liberty Park on Tuesday, February 17th.

A probable cause statement accuses Dustin McIlroy of yelling at parents and scaring children at the facility before being told to leave. Prior to leaving the building, McIlroy allegedly threatened to blow up the building with everyone inside.

Police arrived at the scene and located McIlroy on the park’s north inner road, where an officer attempted to place him under arrest. McIlroy reportedly threatened the officer during the arrest.

McIlroy is facing a felony charge for making a terrorist threat in the second degree. No court dates have been set at this time.
