Two major highways in our area will have intermittent lane closures this week for pavement and shoulder repairs by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Crews are scheduled to perform pavement repairs this week along U.S. Route 65 from Interstate 70 north to Marshall. One lane will close at a time while crews are present, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Crews will also work this week along U.S. Route 50 between Warrensburg and Sedalia, including pothole patching operations beginning Monday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. between Routes 13 and FF. Brush cutting is also scheduled along Route 50 beginning Tuesday from Route FF west to Route 23 in Knob Noster. Shoulder repairs are scheduled for this week on westbound Route 50 from Oak Grove Lane west for one mile. Shoulder work also continues this week on Route 50 in eastern Moniteau County.

Elsewhere, general roadside work continues along Route 5 in Howard County between Routes 40 and DD. In Macon County, Route V will continue to experience closures this week for culvert replacements between Mahogany Street to Oxford Street.
