Glasgow’s annual Pink Out game earlier this month against Salisbury took on a different feel this year for Supt. Stacey Kottman.

The Feb. 5 doubleheader was themed “Stingin’ for Stacey” to show support for Kottman, after her cancer diagnosis last fall. Kottman says she’s grateful to receive the community’s support.

Kottman expressed her gratitude during last week’s school board meeting. Also last week, the board adopted its calendar for the 2026-27 school year, with the first day set for Aug. 25. The board also moved their May meeting up a week to May 13 in order to certify graduates prior to their commencement ceremony.
