Another water main repair in Moberly will lead to a 48-hour boil advisory as soon as crews restore water service in the are of East Hinton Street.

According to the city, a temporary disruption in water service occurred due to a water main repair on East Hinton Street. The customers impacted by the disruption include those on the 100 and 200 blocks of East Hinton, 100 block of Collins, 100 block of Hurley, 400 block of North Hinkley, 300 block of North Buchanan, all of Polston Street, and the surrounding areas.

For customers affected by this outage, there will be a 48-hour Boil Advisory once water service is restored. During an advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking. Customers with questions should call the water office at 660-263-4420.
