The Missouri Department of Transportation is planning work on several roadways in Johnson and Saline County from March 2-6.

In Johnson County, ditch work is scheduled on Missouri Highway 13 between Route OO and Northwest 525 Road from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Flagging operations will be in effect during the work. Brush cutting work will also take place on eastbound and westbound U.S. Highway 50 between Missouri Highway 23 and Route D, leading to intermittent lane closures from Monday until Friday.

Pavement work is taking place on U.S. Highway 65 between Interstate 70 and Marshall from Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

All work is weather permitting. Travelers should be mindful of other tasks MoDOT crews often perform throughout the week, such as pothole patching, litter pick-up, snow plowing, and brush cutting.
