The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the one-vehicle crash occurred around 7:25 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Route 36 at the Grand River bridge west of Chillicothe. Troopers say that the 37-year-old driver’s SUV slid on the roadway, striking the guardrail before coming to a controlled stop facing north on its wheels.
