The Carrollton Town Council has renewed their annual agreement with the Carroll County Area YMCA for use of their pool.

The agreement was renewed at the Monday, Mar. 2 council meeting. Mayor Keith Higgins says the agreement is identical to the one in place a year ago. Prior to consideration of the agreement, the YMCA’s Kathy Lock delivered a presentation and thanked the town for their ongoing support.

Also Monday night, the council voted to create a separate line item in the town’s budget for gasoline use by animal control. Higgins says separate line items will help the town better keep track of fuel use by separating animal control from the Carrollton Police Department’s fuel budget.
